The time gone when cartoon movies or animated movies were just a charm for children now such movies are craze of all age group. Before discussing about top 10 cartoon movies 2013 i want to give you some interesting information about animated movies or cartoons. The first sound and colored featured-length animated movie was Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and it was created by Disney in 1937 under the banner of Walt Disney Productions. By 1939 this movie was the highest grossing movie for all time. Walt Disney produced many high grossing animated movies such as Pinocchio, Sleeping Beauty and The jungle Book.
Today these movies are enjoyed by everyone. Children love cartoon characters and love to play games of based on these movies such as Lion King. We can watch many cartoon channels on our TV network and we can say, today cartoon movies are one of the best source of entertainments. Now we will discuss about top 10 cartoon movies of 2013-2014.

Despicable Me 2 was the highest grossing animated movie of 2013 and it was the second highest grossing movie of general category, Iron Man 3 was the highest grossing.

It is directed by Chris Wedge who is the director of very famous animated cartoon movie Ice Age. Though this movie is based on William Joyce’s book but you will find it very unique and Impressive as compare to book. According to Chris Wedge this movie will immerse its audience in world some what similar to Avatar but still Epic has its own identification.

Planes, 3D computer animated sports movie is produced by Disney Toon Studio and released by Walt Disney Pictures. This movie is mainly focused on a small town crop dusting plane, Dusty Crophopper who follows his dream. The sequel of this movie, Planes: Fire & Rescue will be released in 2014.

Turbo received relatively less response at box office and its domestic performance was also a disappointment for Dream Works computer animated movie and it got mix reviews by critic.
